This section outlines our school’s key areas of focus. It reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and responds to the evolving needs of our students. Whether centered on student engagement, social-emotional well-being, or academic growth, our focus guides our learning journey and informs the strategies we implement throughout the year.

Our school learning story is focused on the following areas. During this past year staff have had many conversations around what and how we continue to move forward as a school community with our learners in mind.

• Instructional Quality – We know that student confidence and encouragement to become better learners starts when students are connected to the skills and areas that they are interested in, and feel are relevant to them.
• Parent Partnership – The triad of success for students is when both the school and family are able to support the students in their learning journey, both supports are critical to a balance of greater success.
• Student Connections – This continues to allow the school to create a community where students see themselves as similar to others.
