It's hard to believe that we are already in our second month of classes here at A.R. MacNeill Secondary! September was filled with many exciting events such as our first Activity Day, Clubs Day, the Grad Boat Cruise, the Terry Fox Run, Student Council elections and much, much more.

We are proud of the transition our new Grade 8s have made to our school community and we look forward to seeing their continued contribution as POWERful Ravens! We are also thrilled to welcome back our Grade 9s, 10s, 11s and 12s as positive role models for our younger students. 

New this year, we have improved our ability to communicate with parents and students through the introduction of the "My School Day" App. We have also launched the MyEducationBC Parent Portal. More information about both of these platforms can be found on our Home page. 

As a continuation of the 2017-2018 school year, we will continue with a focus on student social and academic engagement. This year, we will continue to gather feedback from our students as to how to offer additional opportunities for them to take ownership of their learning. As an element of our "School Story", we will also be inviting teachers and students to share posts that provide glimpses into the amazing things that are happening in MacNeill classrooms and larger community.
