Alzheimer Society - Special Event Volunteer

When: Sunday, May 25th, 2025 + Wednesday May 14th for orientation (online)
Location: Multiple locations available
What: As an event-day volunteer, you’ll contribute to an uplifting community experience while helping raise vital funds and awareness. Whether you prefer welcoming participants, offering refreshments, guiding the walk route, or helping with setup or cleanup, there's a role for every interest and ability.

What: Simon Fraser University Summer Camp Volunteers are responsible for helping Camp Instructors provide a safe, fun, and educational environment. Volunteers act as role models for campers and are expected to demonstrate a respectful, positive attitude and strong sportsmanship. Specific duties include assisting instructors with the supervision of campers, coordinating activities, and upholding a welcoming and inclusive space. Volunteers should be flexible in their camp preferences and placements as position availability may change throughout the summer. Successful candidates will be responsible, adaptable, and passionate about working with children and youth.
