Action Post #4 - Capstone Stories
Grade twelves finished their Graduating year completing one of the ministry requirements called the capstone. This is a process at MacNeill that we start with them as early as we can. We ask them to start to look at different aspects of careers and passions that they may be interested in. These presentations are more than just a check mark to the school year as students can discuss the details of their passions during these presentations that they have investigated or experience during their time at MacNeill. The participation from our greater community was fantastic and added to the feeling that was obvious when walking into this space. We had individuals from all levels of our district and community participate in this event from CUPE employees, retired teachers, members of our executive team and board office and many of our teachers came to support, listen and learn about the skills, attributes and stories that students had to share from their experiences at MacNeill Secondary.
