Reminder tomorrow is Pro-D Day - School is not in session!

The Graduation Numeracy Assessment 10 will be taking place next week Wednesday & Thursday. Please ensure you have checked your exam date and time posted in front of the office window. See Ms. MacDonald for any questions.

 

The last day to hand in the Language Challenge Exam applications is Monday at 2pm.  Please make sure that your applications are complete with Photo Id and a cheque. 

 

Senior Boys Soccer Team meeting today at lunch in room 241 and there will be a practice after school. See you there!

 

All students hosting a Kishi Junior High School from Japan have an important mandatory meeting MONDAY at lunch in Mr. Littlewood’s class – ROOM 113.  That’s Monday at Lunch!

 

Are you interested in forming a band, performing a solo, or creating your own song or rap and perform? Mr. Bonifacio is holding a meeting today at lunch to meet anyone interested in performing for our Friday events.
 

Student Council will be hosting a Halloween Movie night in the lounge next Tuesday, October 29th. The movie is "A Quiet Place" and doors will open at 6 pm with the movie beginning at 6:30 pm. Admissions is free, but you need to sign up for a spot, which can be done at the Student Council Booth at lunch today. 

 

Next week will be our first spirit week of the year! Dress to Impress for chocolate! Monday is Dress as a Teacher, Tuesday is Minion and Gru, where you either wear a yellow shirt and jeans or monochrome, Wednesday is album cover, Thursday is halloween, and Friday is fall, where you dress in oranges and reds. A photobooth will be available in the lounge all week for you to take pictures with your friends, and those interested can be entered into an instagram contest, where the winner will receive a $25 gift card.

Reminder to Grade 9 students to turn in their Immunization Consent Forms. The immunization clinic is next week Tuesday!

Monday Oct 21

Congratulations to the senior boys soccer team for clinching a hard fought 1-0 victory against McNair on the final game of the regular season to book a spot in the Richmond Cup Playoffs and the South Fraser tournament. Co-Captains Owen Shum and Max Ten-Pow connected on a long free kick before Julius Schindler guided the ball home for his team leading third goal of the season. There will be a meeting at lunch today in room 241. See you there!
