Bon Appetit! By Ms. K. Hartmann
Ms. Hartmann's French classes recently started learning about the comparative (sweeter than, saltier than, cheesier than, etc). Students had the chance to sample different candies and chips then they were asked to talk compare them orally in French.
For example: doritos are cheesier than sour patch kids, hot tamales are spicier than skittles, etc. Les doritos sont plus au fromage que les sour patch kids, les hot tamales sont plus piquant que les skittles, etc...
Then students were asked to write down 5 sentences. This was a great activity for active learners!
Other students were asked to record recipes in French. Click on the links for some great examples.
