Reminder that tomorrow is a Pro-D Day - there is NO SCHOOL!
Attention all Grade 8 Art Wheel students. Please come pick up your clay projects left in Ms Walker’s room - by the end of next week. There are a number left behind from various wheels. If there unfinished, come to PLT to finish and take home.
Are you in Gr 12. Are you going to BCIT next year? BCIT is offering bursaries to students going into a number of Engineering, and Technology fields next year. If you're on your way to BCIT and want to see if you might be eligible for a bursary, check the list of eligible programs in the counselling center.
Did you know that all the library learning commons in Richmond are aiming towards a 1,000,000 book challenge? We are 71% of the way there with 1 month to go. We're challenging you right here at MacNeill to see if we can get to 10,000 books read in one year at our school. We've got less than 1,500 books to go. The contest runs from May 14th to June 15th, and the top 3 readers will receive a small prize.

Reminder for ALL grade 12 students to remember to claim your 2 complimentary guest tickets for Valedictory Ceremony by tomorrow, May 14 11:59pm!! Otherwise the 2 complimentary tickets will be forfeited and you will have to wait till the next round to purchase tickets moving forward.

Are you looking for a chill and welcoming space at lunch time? There is a “Drop In” arts, crafts and games group starting today during lunch. The group is hosted by the SD38 I.C.Y. Team. Everyone is welcome to join in activities or just hang out. If you’re interested, come to Room 180 in the Counselling Center. See you soon – everyone is welcome! No sign up required.

This is a reminder again about taking pride in our shared space at MacNeill. Recently, members of the surrounding community have reported garbage being left around the property, both inside and outside. This does not reflect the respectful and responsible community we want to be known for. Each of us is responsible for our own garbage. Please take a moment to clean up after yourself, respectfully remind others to do the same, and whenever possible, help take care of our space together. Small actions make a big difference.Let’s work together to ensure we leave MacNeill better than we found it and show respect for our school and our community. Thank you.
