Dear Students and Parents,

On Thursday, January 8, all students across the district will participate in a seminar on the topic of the Prompt Engineering and Intro to CoPilot 13+ during PLT.

This session will focus on how to write a quality prompt to elicit high quality outputs, and will introduce students to a new AI tool, CoPilot for students 13+ in age.

The format of this session will have two parts:

• A Teams Meeting Live Stream Presentation
• a Video Presentation and facilitated class discussion. 

On January 8:

• School will begin at the regular time of 8:30 AM.
• Students will not sign up for regular PLT on this day. Instead, they will remain in their 1st Block class for PLT to take part in the seminar.
• Grade 11 with a Study during Block 1-1  should report to ROOM 115 during PLT (9:43am-10:31am) for the seminar.
• Grade 12 with a Study during Block 1-1  should report to ROOM 117 during PLT (9:43am-10:31am) for the seminar.
