Dear Students and Parents,

On Thursday, November 13th, all students across the district will participate in a seminar on the topic of the Educational Use of AI during PLT.

The seminar will focus on three main areas:

• Understanding Richmond School District’s Guidelines on AI Use.
• Identifying Personal Values and Boundaries When Using AI
• Thinking and reflecting about how AI can enhance, not replace, critical thinking and student creativity

On November 13th:

• School will begin at the regular time of 8:30 AM.
• Students will not sign up for regular PLT on this day. Instead, they will remain in their 1st Block class for PLT to take part in the seminar.
• Grade 11 and 12 students with a Study during Block 1-1 should report to ROOM 263 during PLT (9:43am-10:31am) for the seminar.
