Terry Fox Run - Alternate Bell Schedule - September 25, Thursday Day 2

MacNeill has had a long proud tradition of honouring a great Canadian hero by participating in the Terry Fox Run. Terry Fox was an 18-year old student at SFU when he lost his leg to cancer. He decided to raise awareness and funds by running across Canada on one leg. His Marathon of Hope covered over 3000 miles when the cancer returned. Terry Fox passed away at the age of 22, yet his remarkable story continues to inspire Canada and the world.

With the Terry Fox Run is quickly approaching, and the recreational leadership classes have organized an advisory fundraising challenge. The Terry Fox Run is on September 25, rain or shine. If it is raining and students would like to walk with an umbrella, that'd be fine too.

Please support our fundraising goal of $2067 at https://schools.terryfox.ca/100375

Leadership students will collect donations in Advisory class, at lunch and at Meet the Teacher night.
