BCFoR have been supporting various BC based rugby grassroots projects for eight years now. Their support has had a significant positive impact on our local rugby community.

Funds raised at this year’s lunch go towards our annual high school rugby scholarship program, and a coach appreciation evening during the BC High School Championships late May in Abbotsford. This year we will be offering 12 scholarships (6 male and 6 female) worth $1500 each.

Some additional exciting news is that the BCFoR are committed to helping grow the opportunities and expertise for our coaching community by offering a coach jamboree later in the year, as well as, in helping to fund an overseas coach shadow experience program. There will be more details to follow on both these opportunities later in the spring.
