What you will do: Explore careers in the field of safety and security, Connect with experts in the field; Visit different departments and learn about their daily operations in:
Canada Border Services Agency
Canadian Security Intelligence Service
Correctional Service Canada
Public Safety Canada
Royal Canadian Mounted Police
What we are looking for: High school students who identify as women. Preference will be given to those in grade 11, will be a minimum of 16 years of age by July 7, 202, are interested in safety and security, are passionate about helping people, demonstrate leadership and initiative.

Under the Employment equity self-declaration section of your application, answer “yes” to the question: Do you identify as a woman? You must answer the mandatory questions included in the application process to be considered. Share why would you like to participate in the program and make sure to include details like your extracurricular activities, volunteer, and work experience. Responses will be used to select candidates.
Conditions of employment:
The employment is for one week (5 full days for a total of 37.5 hours). Salary $18.27 per hour - Number of jobs 150 available
You must be available in person the week of July 7-11, 2025, during the day for the entire duration of the program.
Parent/guardian consent is required to participate.
Selected candidates must arrange and pay for their own travel and all other related costs if coming from another area/city than the job location.
Additional requirements
Participants must have a Social Insurance Number before the start of employment.
Participants must have a bank account in their name before the start of employment.
During the internship, participants will have the opportunity to visit various government sites. This may involve walking and there may be occasional exposure to loud noises.
