MAY 5/25 Federation of Community Services of BC Youth Education Bursary deadline to apply

The bursary is available to a maximum of $2,000 per academic year (for two semesters).
Eligibility:

Currently in care, or a former youth in care in the province of BC. This includes being under a continuing custody order (CCO), temporary custody order (TCO, Voluntary Agreement or Special Needs Agreement), or a Youth Agreement under British Columbia’s Child, Family and Community Services Act.
Eligibility:

Canadian Citizen or PR
Attending or plan on enrolling into a post-secondary academic program in a recognized Canadian public post-secondary institution

Study in the field of Human and Social Services (i.e., Social Work, Counselling, Child & Youth Care, Psychology, Community, Family & Child Studies, Gerontology & Social Work, Mental Health & Addictions.

Can still apply if you are receiving other bursaries and/or a tuition waiver.
Can apply for the bursary more than once. All applicants will be notified by early June 2025.
