Timeline for Applying

SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER
NOVEMBER/DECEMBER
  • BC students applying to out-of-province universities should be familiar with admission requirements, important deadlines, how to apply and submit applications before January.
  • Students applying to a BC college should have completed, or be completing their application
  • Ontario University Application Centre (OUAC) opens: BC students should apply to Ontario schools before January. Apply online at: http://www.ouac.on.ca/ouac-105/ Visit the specific university for details: http://www.ouac.on.ca/unilinks/
  • Oct 1 - KPU starts accepting applications:   http://www.kpu.ca/admission/applying
  • Early Dec – Students should be completing their application packages to out-of-province universities
  • Dec 1 – Deadline to apply for admission to UBC to be considered for the UBC Centennial Scholars Entrance Award

    Students are automatically considered if the application is received by Dec 1.

  • Early April – check that your TOEFL/IELTS/LPI results have been received
  • Mid April  - SFU Self-Reporting portal closes
  • Mid April - UBC begins sending offers of admission 
  • Late April - make sure you have activated your STS account www.StudentTranscripts.gov.bc.ca
  • May 1 - deadline to accept offer and pay deposit for many post secondaries - check your offer letters
  JUNE
JULY/AUGUST
Aug 1 – Last day to submit an application to KPU for the Fall Semester:  https://apply.educationplannerbc.ca/kpu.jsp

Available to students with permanent disabilities or a combination of learning difficulties that hinder scholastic success.

Kwantlen Employment and Community Studies for People with Disabilities
Courses and learning experiences will prepare students for lifelong learning, employment, and community engagement opportunities. Students will participate in hands-on learning and work experience opportunities.
