Attention ELL Level 5 students: The Term 2 assignment posted on Teams was due on Feb. 16 and this link is now closed. Thank you to the students submitted this through Teams. If you have not yet completed this, get a hard copy in Room 117 and submit by Wed March 1 at 8:30 am to be considered for Term 2. Thank you.

 

Can you believe that we only have two more weeks left in the 2023 Reading Riot challenge? But don't worry... there's still time to read that book you've been wanting to read all along. Simu Liu's memoir, We Were Dreamers, is currently ranking at a perfect 5 out of 5. It was also long listed for CBC Canada Reads. This week's reading riot prize draw winner is Emily Pan. Congratulations!

 

Today is the final day for any students to sign up for the senior girls soccer team. Please write your name outside the PE office. All grades are welcome! Please find Mr. Akune if you have any questions.

Anyone interested playing Ultimate frisbee is welcome to join us for tryouts next week. The Junior and senior teams will both be practicing mon, wed, Thursday.

 

For those interested in playing golf & you got your own clubs.. Our first meeting is today after school in Room 222.

 

Badminton tryout times for all grades are posted outside of the gym on the sign-up sheets. Senior tryouts are today at 6:30pm. Please see Mr. Li if there are any questions

Please take some time during lunch to check out Buzz Art Club sale. All money raised will be going to families affected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkey. The club will be selling buttons, stickers and canvases until Friday March 3rd.

Floor Hockey intramurals continue today. Team 1 is playing against team 4 in the small gym at lunch. Please be on time so we can start right away.
