SS: Social Studies 10

Course Description

The Socials Studies 10 curriculum provides students with opportunities to reflect critically upon events and issues in order to examine the present, make connections with the past, and consider the future.  Students will continue to be exposed to varied resources, to consider multiple perspectives and to make reasoned judgments. Throughout the course, students will become familiar with the rights, responsibilities and practices of active Canadian citizenship and issues relating to Canada’s ever-evolving identity.  Furthermore, students will develop an appreciation of democracy, human equality, and cultural diversity.
