MUSIC: Instrumental Music Orchestra 10 (Band 10)

This course is an extension of Instrumental Music 8/9 with many of the techniques and concepts expanded upon based on student abilities and interests. Music theory and history will be incorporated into the repertoire being performed. Students will be given opportunities to work on solo repertoire, small ensembles, composing, and arranging. Conducting and sectional rehearsal opportunities will be given to those who wish to expand their musical abilities. Participation in concerts, field trips, and extra-curricular rehearsals is integral to the course.

** Please note that if sufficient students enroll, this course will be offered during the regular school day. Otherwise, it will be offered every second day BEFORE school at 7:30am
