Students will be divided into groups of 40 for these physically distanced orientations. Students please remember your group number and time. We ask that students attend their assigned orientation sessions and use the selected doors for entry and exiting the school. Students are encouraged to leave the school once the orientations have finished. We ask that parents wait in their cars and not enter the building. Students are asked to wear masks for these orientations. Please note that students in the Life Skills Program and Aspen Learning Program will attend school on Sept 14, 2020.

All classes will start on Monday, September 14th, 2020. We also know that students and parents have many questions and concerns about this extraordinary school year during pandemic conditions.  We appreciate that students and parents have many questions, and our district has compiled FAQs that can be accessed online here https://www.sd38.bc.ca/sites/default/files/2020-09/Frequently%20Asked%20Questions%20-%20Restart%20Plan_1.pdf. As always at MacNeill Secondary School, we will face this year as calmly as we can, by supporting and caring for one another. Thank you for your patience. Please know that we are following all of the expectations of the Provincial Health Officer and the Ministry of Education and working very hard to ensure that our students and staff will be as safe as possible.

Thank you,

MacNeill Administration Team
